West Lafayette Parking

Residential Neighborhood Parking Permit – With a Residential Neighborhood Parking Permit, you may park anywhere within your own residential zone and you are exempted from timed enforcement between the hours of 7 AM and 7 PM. Depending on your address, you will be issued a Zone 1 or Zone 2 permit that will allow you to park only within your own residential zone.

How to Purchase Permits

Residents may apply for a Residential Parking Permit by Establishing Residency online. Instructions for applying may be found to the right, with the link: Residential Parking Program. These permits are valid from August 1st to August 31st of the following year. You will be asked to complete the following:

  • Register Address
  • Provide Supporting Documentation (Proof of residency in a permit parking area is established by the applicant’s driver license, vehicle registration, and for renters: a current/valid signed lease OR for homeowners: a copy of a recent utility bill.)
  • Add Vehicle (License Plate Required)
  • Purchase Residential Permit
